Feeling: Like this flu is never letting go
Hey, howdy, hello.
I had some request to make more dresses, so I did. This time it's Ziggy, a diamond checkered flexi dress of retro cuteness! I adore this one, cause as you might know I'm a sucker for checkers. Checkers galore!!! I like spicing it up by wearing some colourful old school tattoos and some funky accesories, it makes such a nice contrast to the good-girl look of the dress. The tattoos on my upper body that I'm wearing in the pic are by the amazing Zabitan Assia, I highly recommend his store FORM. Great guy clothing that works for us gals also, and kick ass tattoos. Another kick ass tattoo artist is of course Canimal Zephyr, and I'm wearing part of her suicide girls set for my lower body. I'm also wearing the black tango shoes from 1-800 Bettie, the newest retro shop in town. Other than that; skin by Lost Thereian, hair by ETD. The hairstyle is called Perky, I added the bangs myself. Gotz to have the straight bangz, you know! Also wearing my library glasses, they can be found in my store.

Ah, what a night... I'm tired. I've always tried, and pretty much succeded, in staying out of drama and trouble ISL. I have my groups of close friends/neighbours, I have my Max, I have my shop and I have shopping. I stick to those, I have fun, I feel safe, and drama is like this distant thing I hear about on the news. Today trouble came a'knocking on my door.
I wrote this article in PXP about a store I discovered a couple of days ago. I liked this girls designs, cause some of them had a retro feel to them, straight bangs and all. So I ended up praising this hair in PXP, a couple of hours later I get an IM telling me the textures are stolen. And aaaah... I felt so bad. I felt I had been so wrong. How could I be so wrong? And what was I supposed to do? This was my third article in PXP, so I'm still very unsecure about how things are done. Back and forth, deleting, rewriting, hoping no one would get mad, hoping this wouldnt reflect itself on ME as a designer or a person. To put it simple; I felt so small.
Zyrra Falcone, who is the creator of the original textures, was very, very cool to me about it all. I am terribly sorry this happened to her, and very thankful that she didnt blame me for not recognizing her textures.
The article is gone now, since te hair is worthless and I no longer mean a single word of what I wrote. Lots of people have been banning Karina Popinjay from their stores (me included), and I hope word gets around so that no one buys her hair. I always believe in giving people second chances, so if the girl actually manages to come up with some textures of her own, I'll check it out. But untill that day, she is off my radar.
Yeah, I'm making this into a big deal, but I try to imagine how the Panache girls feel, seing their work ripped off like that. Other than that I'm sick, I'm lonely, I'm emotional (funeral today, *shrugs*), I'm lost and I'm sleepy.

Thinking about: How much I miss himMy flu is certainly not getting any better. Feel like crap today, and so very weak. And if I'm reading my body right it's about to be that special girly time of month too. Hooray. I think someone put a sraw up my nose, sucked out my brain, and filled my head with cotton istead. And yes, I do feel sorry for myself. :P Tonight at around 6-8 SL time I'm sponsoring an event at the Twilight Beach Club. managed by my lovely sister in law, Amethest Peck. It's a "best in retro/rockabilly", thing, which is going to be great. A lot of freebies and cash being handed out, I believe. I normally dont go to events like that, so I'm not sure how it works. Anyhow, this will all be happening in the middle of the night my time, since I'm CET, but I'll try to stay up till then and go check it out. I have 384MG ram on this computer, hehe, so I'll probably wander around, crashing into people and not being able to control anything, then give up and go to bed. I made two versions; one with a leopard pattern (rawrrrr!) and one with polka dots (of course!), each of the options has 6 colours to chose from. I've had numerous online journals over the years, so why not have one related to SL and artilleri? No matter what I'm going to miss being able to post in the forums, but I read about the Lindens creating some sort of fashion thingie on their website. The grid and website are down at the moment, so I'm not able to check it out, but I will as soon as stuff is back up and running.I'll probably dedicate the time between now and when the grid is back up to try and figure out how this thing works, but it looks like a no-brainer.
